Clearleather
Eventually a simple spaghetti western minigame. Going to be honest here, don't have enough programming knowledge to execute it, but almost have a functional card/board game version.
Clearleather takes place in the small mountain town of the same name, in 1876. A lone bounty hunter tails a young killer to the edge of the country, where his last stand thrusts the bounty hunter into a feud with the town's civil war "heroes". Use your sixgun to take them all down, and bask in the reward of justice, glory, or maybe just a sack of lincoln skins.
Rogues' Gallery:
- Kid Henry -
Henry Manson, known "Kid", is Sheriff's nephew. Seventeen years old, he's killed seven men. The bounty hunter has tracked him to a small town in the rockies.
- Jane -
Jane Monteblanc runs Clearleather's saloon and lodgings. While she didn't inherit the establishment when her father passed, her uncles are content to leave the business dealings to her. When a fight breaks out on her front stoop, she doesn't hesitate to get involved.
- Alan Grey -
Mr. Grey is a young ranchhand, employed by the Monteblanc brothers. Always willing to show off, he carries a massive iron down his pants. There's a fine line between bravery and cockiness, and he just pulled back the hammer.
- Monteblanc Brothers -
The bounty hunter never caught their christian names, and he prefers it that way. Confederate soldiers who, ironically, fled north after the war ended, the two have funded most of the town, and profit from the town's ranch, saloon, inn, stables, and blacksmith. With three of their own dead, they can't let this slide, and they won't fight fair.
- Sheriff Manson -
The town's sheriff, he's the only one who's been in Clearleather since before the Monteblancs showed their faces. Word on the street is he gunned down Jane's father in a dispute, driving a wedge between himself and his former compatriots. The deaths of his old friends and nephew may just be enough to get him, and his black eyed susan, to try and reconcile the past.
